4th Big Island Open Donates to Big Island Giving Tree

Division 1 Players

Division 2 Players

The Waikoloa Pickleball Club was proud to serve as a sponsor for the 4th Big Island Open, held at the Rutgers Tennis Center at HPA on Nov. 11/12/23.  The tournament was another huge success, with 38 players enjoying the exercise, competition and friendship that pickleball provides.

The tournament serves as a fundraiser for Big Island Giving Tree and raised over $7,200 for this wonderful charity that provides Christmas meals for over 700 individuals and families each year.

Congratulations go to the division winners — Tracy Tedesco and Jeff Perez in Division 2 and Rob Reschan and Verne Morland in Division 1.  A special thanks goes to Barbara Zipkin, tournament co- Director along with her husband, Gary Zipkin.
